I leased a car for my mother. It seemed like it was the least I could do after a lifetime of support that she had given me.

Eu aluguei um carro para minha mãe. Pareceu o mínimo que eu podia fazer depois de uma vida inteira de apoio que ela tinha me dado.

At least I feel I’ve paid her back in some small way. I leased that car for her for the next three years, and she was able to use it to do her daily errands and such.

Pelo menos eu sinto que a paguei de alguma forma.  Eu aluguei aquele carro para ela pelos próximos três anos, e ela foi capaz de usá-lo para fazer suas tarefas diárias e tal.
